I am a Research Postgraduate in School of Computer Science, University of St Andrews,UK under the supervision by Dr. John Thomson. My current research project aims to design novel OS scheduler for multi-threaded multiprogrammed workloads targeting heterogeneous systems with Asymmertic Multicore Processors(AMPs) (e.g, ARM big.LITTLE architectures with CortexA57 and CortexA53) which is co-supervisored and collaborated with Dr. Pavlos Petoumenos and Prof. Hugh Leather in CArD group, University of Edinburgh. I am also collaborated with Dr. Wenlai Zhao and Prof. Haohuan Fu in Tsinghua University and National Supercomputer Centre in Wuxi for research on large-scale clustering algorithm design targeting Supercomputers with millions cores. My research is mainly funded by St Leonards 7th Century Scholarship and Computer Science PhD funding by St Andrews.

I graduated with a M.Res. in Advanced Computing (Master by Research) degree with Distinction from Department of Computing Imperial College London,UK under the supervision by Dr. Mark Stillwell, Dr. Jose Gabriel F. Coutinho and Prof. Wayne Luk. My work in here was about resource allocation and task scheduling targeting FPGA-based multi-accelerator system and IaaS Cloud which is partially funded by the Departmental Scholarship by Imperial and collaborated with Maxeler Technologies and Prof. Yuchun Ma in Tsinghua University.

I got a B.Sc. (Honor) Computer Science degree with First Class honors in University College Cork, Ireland. At this time, I did a research assistant in Centre of Efficiency-Oriented Languages under the supervision by Prof. Michel Schellekens and conducted undergraduate research about topological structures in domain theory, the foundation of denotational semantics for programming languages. Before that, I finished my first two years undergraduate studies in Beijing Technology and Business University, China.
